INTERNATIONAL SUPPLIERS FAIR 2018 in Wolfsburg (Germany)

Thank you so much for your visit!

RECTICEL Automotive builds further on the success of its Colo-Sense® Lite lightweight moulded skin and has launched several new programmes in 2017.

After having successfully introduced it in the new XC90 and V/S 90, Colo-Sense® Lite was also the material of choice for Volvo's new XC60, for which the first skins were supplied out of the facility of Mlada Boleslav in April this year. As such Recticel hopes to contribute further to Volvo's success in developing elegant Swedish-style interiors.

More start-ups for Volvo will follow end of 2017 and in 2018, making this car manufacturer one of the most important users of the polyurethane moulded skin surface over its complete model range.

The Shanghai Volkswagen Tiguan IP skin was successfully launched out of the Chinese Ningbo facility, later on this year the FAW-Volkswagen Arteon will follow out of the Changchun plant. The instrument panel skin and smaller parts for the European Arteon are currently supplied out of both Czech production locations.

News also from the BMW world: the facelift of the 1/2-Series and 3/4-Series contains a dashboard surface where real stitches are introduced to further enhance the perceived quality of the interior. To realize this the Wackersdorf plant has been extended with several stitching units to keep up with the demands.

The US-based Tuscaloosa plant is happy to supply the instrument panel and glove box skins for the BMW's new X3 car launched in July.

The Chinese Shenyang facility is now ready to ramp up the local 5-Series, and is in full preparation for the upcoming local X3 version.
